My mentor recommended this book to me after I spent many months aimlessly trying out various business models and proposed value propositions。 After reading running lean， I had a much better understanding to a viable framework to use when building a startup。 The advice， frameworks， and tools provided in this book have been undeniably important and beneficial to running a startup more effectively。

It is essentially a concise guidebook of know-hows for startups to succeed。 Some chapters are really helpful and I have managed to make bookmarks on some topics that for sure I will be revisiting。 I especially enjoy that the author has stuck to the same examples （his own startup， Cloudfire， for example） throughout the book， it is even easier this way for readers to learn step-by-step。
